Summary: The ease of set-up is the only positive statement I can say. However, I never was able to get it to work well. The internet would lock-up when the router would sit for long periods. I would need to disconnect the wires to reset. For all the positive reviews, I was disappointed with this item. 2 of 5 stars.
Pros: it work about a month, then stated the dread dropping wifi issues everyone talks about, wanted to smash it, started dropping every time another device 'android phone' was on the network for more then 2 minutes then after resetting a thousand times, i did full reset and didn't change the name from tp_link-blabla and now it seems to be working just fine and i've added a wii and two android phone to the network 'and im using a wifi mouse and keyboard app' also alot of tr...
Cons: ***it just died/droped my wifi as i was typing this review....dam it, it was doing so good for about 2 weeks with no drops, i think it was the wifi keyboard and mouse app i just started using a few minutes ago***so its a real pain in the asz , but i think if you just set it up and dont mess around with anything too much it will stop dropping wifi, dont change broadcast name, i think i have it on channel 11 right now
Cons: Stop working after a couple of months. When I start a Skype conversation or FaceTime conversation, the router stop working right away and needs a reboot. It will fail every time I try a Skype or FaceTime conversation.
