Summary: If you understand what you are doing, this is the switch for you. It has QoS and CoS. Software is a bit clunky. You must save after each individual change. Saving the config allows the you to upload that config to other switches for easy build out. Worked great for our application. I will by again. I do have a concern for the relatively low 105 degree F max operating temp.
For the price, can't beat it. Surpisingly feature-rich.

Summary: Great reliable "smart" 16 port gigabit switch. Actually has a CLI with an IOS/EdgeOS-like syntax. Custom certificates can be uploaded to the device via the web interface. I used it to consolidate numerous 8 and 5 port switches. It's now running my home WAN, LAN, open wifi, and security camera networks with port-based VLANs. Access to the management interfaces can be restricted to a particular VLAN ID.
Summary: I have a relatively large home network that includes 3-4 servers, several routers, a media center, workstations, VoIP phones and a number of wireless clients, given the sensitivity of some of this traffic I wanted a managed switch that could do per-port VLAN tagging. This switch fits that bill to a t - its cheap, it has a simple management interface and it works well.
Summary: Compared to most other brands and features for the money, this is a very good, very decent working switch. I am not pushing it the limit yet, but it works great in all aspects. I would recomend it.
Summary: I was looking for a good but inexpensive switch in my home so that i could run multiple VLANs. I ran across the TP-Link switches and could not find anything else like them for the price. I was suprised when it arrived. Nice metal case with clear instructions on how to connect to manage it. The GUI is very nice and intuitive. I did not need any instructions as everything was easy to find and just worked correctly when I configured it.
Summary: I managed to get the switch on sale, for about 20% off what seems to be the typical price, which was nice. However, it is a great switch even at the normal price. I currently have 13 LAN drops or devices hooked up to the switch and it is working well. The management console/page is nice, pretty uncluttered and relatively straight forward. LAG works perfectly (well, at least up to 2 groups with 2 ports each. I don't have the extra devices to test more than that).
Summary: Voor de telenet gebruikers.
