Summary: This was an upgrade from an older 8 Port Gigabit router that died, so I wasn't looking for any real performance upgrade with this, but 60 days in and it's been trouble-free and, as expected, was very simple to set up. Plug in your ethernet cables, start it up and your done.
Summary: These switches are absolutely amazing! Its fanless and makes NO noise! It was a nice light weight and rackmounted easy enough, though I did have to buy bolts that secured its included mounting bracket to the rack. I liked that any port can be the uplink.
Summary: Bought this to replace a couple of smaller switches and provide room to expand. It uses 11 W with about 1/2 the ports filled according to my Kill-A-Watt. In fact, that is how much power it used when I plugged it in. I don't hear any fans. I don't run jumbo frames, so haven't tested that.
Pros: Lots of ports, low power, silent, rack mount brackets included. I plugged it in, connected ports, and it just worked. That is what I expect from a switch.
Cons: For desktop applications I would prefer wires on back and lights on front.
Summary: So far, so good. A switch is a switch right? There isn't much to say except that I usually pair this with a Ubiquiti Erlite. They work very well together but like I said, is there any reason for them not to? Will update review when appropriate...
