Summary: I have been trying to get this switch replaced under warranty for more than 6 weeks. I've included all documentation and answered the same questions repeatedly. No RMA, no warranty service. No answer on the "TP Link Hotline" either.
Pros: Worked great for several months
Cons: Started dropping all connections, the power light remains on. A power cycle will get it going for a while. Warranty is a run around that gets you nothing but frustrated.
Summary: The TP-LINK TL-SG1008D causes Wi-Fi interference. After installing the unit I noticed that my Wi-Fi download speed had fallen from 20 MB to 5 MB. This was checked on several devices and with several speed tests.

Summary: Bad design. It's almost unbelievable. The network wires plug into the front where they block the lights. They even plug in upside down when compared to every other device I've ever owned. The lights need to be in the front where I can see whats going on.
Summary: This switch was well-reviewed and that's why I purchased it. It functioned without problems for about 2 weeks, when all of a sudden it caused some weird networking problems including causing clients to my router to no longer be able ping hosts on the internet.
