Pros: It is a gigabit switch that works well. What more can I say? I needed more LAN ports so I plugged this switch into my router and now I have more ports. Mine stays fairly cool, but I only put it to modest use.
Cons: The case is plastic. If you need a metal case this is not the model for you. The power it supplied by a "wall wart," so take that into consideration.

Summary: Awesome! Many small desk switches and routers only get you up to 100mb/s but since I sometimes more speed, this helps a lot. I will say however that won't get the exact 1000mb/s. My internet provider gets me 980mb/s plugging straight to the wall, but after I go through the deak switch, I get about...
Pros: Absolutely simple to setup. increased my router ports from 4 to 12 in 30 seconds. plug in switch power; remove one rj45 cord from router and plug into switch; plug in a rj45 cord from empty router port to an empty port on switch and you are in business. way to simple.
Summary: Just a good cheap gigabit switch. Seems to handle mixed gigabit/100Mbit connections without slowing down the fast connections. I've got four or five of these running on several different small-business networks, and one in my house.
Pros: I've bought several of these over the past couple years. They're all serving very nicely.
Summary: I bought this to extend my network throughout my home. I wanted to have my wireless cable modem, which is also our wireless router, in my TV Room and have wired options in the office on the other end of the house.
