Summary: There is not much to say about this item. It arrived safely and in good condition. The packaging was fine. It worked the first time I plugged it in. There are no drivers to load or anything. I connect to the internet a lot faster than through the lynksys router that I was using for a hub.
Excerpt: This is an uncomplicated and zero maintenance network switch. It is capable of jumbo frames, and requires no setup. I use it to synchronize computers using a gigabit LAN (a lot faster than wireless), and it works great for this purpose.
Summary: No setup was required. Plug and play with no diminishing speeds on my 1 Gbps LAN. I read this had a lifetime warranty somewhere, but the paperwork said it was 2 years. Other then that disappointment I am pleased.
