Summary: Great little 10/100 switch for the money. I had an old Cisco 10/100 that I got second hand and it was just too loud for the place I had it in so I got this little guy and it is awesome. The place I have it is one network with 8 PCs, a NAS, and a couple of peripherals so I don't need a ton of speed or any special configuration so it worked for a change.
Summary: Being a switch in theory there shouldn't be any messing around, however as always I hold my breath when it comes to anything connected to a computer. Fortunately, this does do what it says on the tin. You simply fit it into a 19" rack if you have used the provided mounting brackets and plug into your router. The build quality is very good - like all of the other TP-Link stuff I've had over the years. Only slight downside is that it's a kind of 1970's Leyland car brown.
Summary: Good quality steel construction, feels sturdy enough. It came with a UK plug, so no problems for me. The only thing that lets it down is the brown colour, everything else in my rack cabinet is black! Still a great product despite this.
Summary: I needed a hub urgently and ordered this with express delivery. It arrived the next day (great value for the postage as well)and within 1 hour was installed into an existing network to provide additional capacity. It comes complete with power cord and rack mount brackets and is outstanding value. It is sturdy (Steel case), well made and aesthetically pleasing. As good as many others that are significantly more expensive.
Summary: I have recently installed this switch. The product seems to work well and does the job as intended. However, as stated by another reviewer, it comes with a two-pin (European) plug instead of a UK three-pin plug. Having seen the other review I assumed / hoped it was a one-off error. Not so. I contacted Amazon by phone to point this out.
