Summary: I had a bit of a problem understanding that I could plug the input into any of the slots, but once I realized that I had it up and running in 1 minute. Not a single issue, couldn't be more pleased.
Summary: Connected it to my router, computers, and other devices. It works. So net I gain 6 ports because I lose one each on the switch and router by connecting them. It's cheap, very easy to set up, does the job.
Summary: Sometimes less is more. A perfect fit for a small business. ISP provided a fairly versatile router/access point and we needed a bit more distribution, but we didn't need a smart distribution device. This fit the bill.
Summary: Low cost switch that just magically works! I purchase this to expand the number of devices that connects to a single port Wi-Fi bridge I setup in my living room, it just works after connecting it and now my Smart TV, Xbox 360, Blu-ray player can all share the same internet connection. Saved me a lots of money to enable internet connection for those devices individually.
Summary: this switch is one of a kind,i wanted an 8-port switch for my internal network at home.its plug and play, fast, cheap and very reliable. doesn't drop packets.i advice prospective buyers should is worth buying...
Summary: Didnt work with my internet feed. I have FiOs to a normal router, then to this new TP-Link, well it worked up to that point, but it wouldnt allow the rounter down line to find IP or internet. The guy on the help line was nice, we ran over a few items, none worked. Figured if they were going to sell this, they might run test on different configurations first....
Summary: Just plug it in to power with the included adapter, hook up your Ethernet cable source, then hook up whatever else you are using. (TV, Receiver, computer, Roku, BluRay, etc). Done! No configuration necessary, (at least in my case). I got rid of my WiFi and went with a wired connection to my entertainment center. Tremendous improvement!
