Summary: Have been using TL-MR3420 for several years now and have found it to be very very good. Those thast have been have drop issues I would suggest its the internet service not the router. I gave it a 4 only because as it has no power button. I am now running the the new 3g/4g model on NBN Fixed wireless and for me it 5 stars, it has a power button. I only change as I gave the old one to a friend who could no afford to buy one.
Summary: Using a Huawei 4G dongle to speed up the internet connection for films. Port Forwarding works well with BT but not with 3G due to software issues in dongle and MR3420. TP-Link support is not great although they suggest the dongle is compatible with their router! Planning on testing with a TP-Link dongle - unfortunately doesn't yet support 4G.
Summary: It arrived next day and was very well packaged. I removed it from the box, connected the power supply and my '3' dongle and switched it on. It worked! I made sure it was password protected and haven't touched it since. Reception throughout 2 floors is excellent.
Good router - Value for money - Need to tinker with firmware for 3G dongle compatability

Summary: Firstly flipkart delivery was on time and the product was well packed. Came across this router when looking for a router where i could plug in my 3G dongle to enable internet sharing across multiple devices. I have a Vodafone 3G dongle model K3770-Z mfg by ZTE Corp china and s per the TP-Link website this 3G dongle was supported and hence went ahead with the purchase.
Compatibility, Signal Strength and Firmware Updates.
11 March 2013
Summary: After some initial confusion about firmware updates I was very impressed with this router. I would have rated 5/5 if it wasn't for the firmware issue as it's not mentioned in the manual. Vote useful if you need a firmware installation guide, I have included below. Compatibility - Purchased a 3 network (using in the UK) Huawei e353 dongle and it worked straight out of the box with no firmware updates.
Summary: Delivery timing is great. I actually received it within 26 Hours. Configuration for PPPoE which I require is also very Easy. Not yet tried the 3G part. Range is OK. I can easily connect my Computer, Laptop, Mobile and Media Player at the same time.
Summary: Cannot fault it so far. Did my research into the unit and it seemed to be overall positive. It was also the only one i could find that was compatable with my 3g modem (E353). Price was spot on as well. Once you log in and familiarise yourself with the GUI it is easy to set up.
Flexible, powerful and bargainous - but be careful of MTU size!

Summary: Really flexible little 3G router. Fairly easy to set up (I used it with the cheap "Three Huawei E353 1GB USB Mobile Broadband Modem with Latest Dongle Technology (HSPA+)" on the Three network) whilst waiting for our corporate ADSL connection to be installed. One word of warning for Linux users though (similar issues may also arise for users of other platforms; not sure): when using with 3G network, be sure to set your MTU appropriately (as the max MTU is 1480 as opposed...
Summary: good router but a must upgrade firmware before you set up with a 3 mobile dongle it works well with my huawei e367 and my download speed as gone up i live on the edge of the 3 net work but I would suggest plug dongle straight in to router and run a Arial from dongle for best reception good unit
