  • Summary: This used to work with my Sierra 312U Bigpond Ultimate (White) but now it drops the connection regularly and is unusable with a blinking blue light on the Sierra USB modem. Not sure what has changed, we now have to connect direct to the Macbook which holds the connection. I am now looking for a replacement.

Excellent broadband router, with a budget price tag.

  • Summary: I bought this router because it was the cheapest broadband router I could find, it's Chinese made, but to my surprise, it's a great little router with lots of features, and works perfectly with my Telstra Sierra dongle, I have been using it constantly for 3 months so far without any problems. If you're on a budget like me I would recommend it.

Ideal for sharing a 3G Internet connection.

  • Summary: I got this to use in our caravan as our kids are of an age when they need Wi-Fi connection to keep in touch with their friends and complain loudly if they are unable to do so! This router was easy to set up and gives good range outside the caravan too. The 3G dongle simply plugs in to the USB port on the side of the router. I have added a high gain antenna that plugs in to the dongle to ensure a reliable connection in poorer signal areas.

Great for a backup 3G connection

Sarah, Amazon
1 December 2013
  • Summary: Before we got decent broadband I bought this to provide a backup connection via an O2 3G PAYG dongle as I need a reliable connection to work from home. This did not disappoint - had no problems getting online with the dongle, even though it is an old one that doesn't work with Windows 8. Have not tried it with 4G as we don't have that in our area. The aerial is big but at least we had a decent wifi signal.

Working good

Beverly, Amazon
16 October 2013
  • Summary: Have waited for a while to review to make sure have used it enough, and it's working great. Not 5 stars, as seems rather cheaply built and doesn't look terribly sturdy (like so many things these days), but otherwise is working great and my laptop picks up the wifi signal in the furthest part of the house I can be in (albeit, I don't live in a mansion mind, it's still downstairs and to the rear of the house, and signal is full).
