Summary: I really like the size of this modem, plus it has a battery built in to give about 2-3 hours of use... You can also plug it into A/C, or power it with a usb cable right from your laptop... The problem is with customer support....
Excerpt: installation is fast, almost all type of devices can be used like 3g/4g/evdo. can be used as a power bank for ur moblile.the problem lies with the speed.it decreases the speed by 30% that means if uu use a device which normally gives u 3 mbps speed will give u 2mbps in this device.
Excerpt: Looks this product is great flexibility but I struggled to configre simple LAN to Wifi configuration. Pros: Battery back up and USB supported external 3G/4G/Wifi swervice and rugged plastic design makes good feel of product.
Summary: The device meets the expectation of whatever mentioned in the description. The reason behind giving 3 starts is that, everytime when I switch ON the router I have to plug-out and plug-in the dongle for the internet to work.
Summary: 3 stars for the functionality and ease of use. Reduced two stars for the difficulty to make it work with my 3G modem. This router is quite handy. I love the portability it provides. I am using it with an Alcatel Onetouch modem - !DEA Cellular 3G.
Summary: I gave it 3 stars because the product is decent. It lasts up to 3 hours after a full charge. There are a couple of things here. The customer service of TP-Link is hopeless. I am not much of a tech guy and I had trouble configuring the device initially.
