Good when it works

Yu, Amazon
6 March 2015
  • Summary: This is some sort of bridging router. Requires no configuration and can work right out of the box, quite literally. However, it is recommended to at least login once to alter the default password for management. In order to do this you will have to manually configure a machine with an IP address on 192.168.0.0 network, (instead of the 192.168.1.0 network its DHCP server gives you) like 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.0.253, so that you can connect to TPLink's 192.168.0.254 web...

Good Product, Documentation Flaws, Slow 3G/4G Error Recovery

Curtis Collins, Amazon
18 August 2014
  • Summary: For my purposes, use aboard my boat, I wanted a device which could be powered directly from a DC power source. This device fits the bill and offers a lot of functionality with its many operating modes, but has negatives in two areas. One, the documentation is very redundant and has some errors. Common set-up instructions are repeated for each operating mode making much longer than necessary and less convenient to navigate.

Ordered 3, 1 dead although PSU is ok

Ziloni, Amazon
17 January 2013
  • Summary: I buy a lot of TP-Link stuff for resale and we rarely have issues. But out of 3, 1 was dead. And the PSU works, just not the injector, which is weird because its basically connectors and a light. I read some other reviews of people who got dead ones too. And given that its just a PSU and connectors on the spare wires, one has to wonder why POE injectors are so expensive...

Performance of a router

Gyana, Snapdeal
15 March 2015
  • Excerpt: Now a days every computer components has a standard charger i.e micro usb charger. But this router doesn't have this type of charger. Comparatively micromax & huawei all datacards are working perfectly in this router. If u considered BSNL EVDO network u can choose this router otherwise micromax mmx 440w router is the best router (In this type of router all modems are working basically micromax & huawei also in 2g&3g mode which mode is selected in computer).
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast
