Summary: Were it not for the very lacking instructions and setup wizard, I would have rated this product as 5 stars. I bought this produce to use as a router/switch with my existing cable modem, not to use as an ASDL modem. The instructions and setup wizard seem to make the default assumption that the purchaser intends to use the device as an ASDL modem. Thus, it took some work to determine how to configure the device for use as just a router/switch.
Summary: Decent router for the money. I haven't any of the drop outs or need to reset that others have mentioned. It works fine with my DSL (and will with any DSL provider I imagine) and holds a more stable connection under less than optimal conditions than my old netgear router. The interface is easy to navigate and there are plenty of options in there to satisfy the tech geeks - there could be more, but there are enough. Few tips: 1.

Summary: This was fairly easy to set up with AT&T/Bellsouth ADSL and covers the house with a strong signal. One star deducted for having to be rebooted a couple of times -- it's hard to tell whether that was the fault of the modem or AT&T. If we switch back to cable, we'll still use this device, as it also works as a router/AP with the DSL off.
Summary: So, I initially used another person's suggestion and information from their experience in setting up this modem router as they have CenturyLink as I do, but it didn't work. I did have to call TP-Link 2 times and CenturyLink 2 times, but on the last call to CenturyLink the modem connected and has been working ever since. Recommendations (These are in the directions too, but I just thought I'd put extra emphasis on these 2 items): 1.
Summary: This router set up quickly and really works well balancing multiple devices. We have 3 smart phones, two lap tops, two hardwired computers, a hardwired blu ray player, two wireless roku players, a hardwired router, and a wireless range extender. This this router we definitely minimize delays in getting on the internet. My only compliant is that I have to turn off and turn back on the wireless connection on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at least once a day.
Excerpt: I did some research online in regards to modems and routers. This seemed to be a good choice for my needs. Modem and router all in one and wireless abilities. I also liked the 2 USB ports for memory storing and sharing. When I received the unit, I appreciated the workmanship and quality. Switching modem/routers was very time consuming and difficult for me. I followed all the instructions from both this company and my carrier and could not get the modem working.

Summary: This is a combination of a dsl modem and router. The install was a little awkward, but I'll write it off to my unfamiliarity with these things. I bought it for features and price. So how did it turn out? Good! Everything communicates; streaming to multiple devices is smooth. We have about a dozen wireless devices counting phones, printers, Apple TV, WII, smart TV, laptops and 2 pc's. The modem handles all of them, everything is snappy.
