Summary: For some reason this router does not work well with my Mac. When I am connected via Wi-Fi it is great however, if the computer goes to sleep or I shut it down it will not re-connect, even after rebooting. I am forced to hardwire it while rebooting and use it, then disconnect the hardwire and it will generally work. My two Android devices and TV are always connected with no problems. In addition my Xbox 360 will not connect.
Summary: I had an old Linksys WRT54G for about 10 years. I was able to connect to my wifi from across the street on my cell. Now that I have this modem/router I lose a bar of signal by the time I get to my kitchen. Very disappointed in the wifi range of this device when a 10 year old device creates a higher signal. The other issue I have with this modem is that to use the printer I have plugged into it wirelessly, the computer that the modem is plugged into has to be turned on.
Summary: The DSL Modem provided to me in Antigua West Indies by INET was just plain flaky. The TP-Link was recommended to me and I am glad it was. I copied over the settings and was up and running within about 15 minutes. No more drop offs. This modem generates a lot of heat but with the vents on top it has plenty of room to breath, which clearly could have been the reason the other modem was failing. Make sure to dust it off from time to time to keep the vents clear.
