Not bad - default settings for talktalk are incorrect

Summary: This has been more stable with multiple connections than my Netgear DG834G . It once lost its settings and had to be reprogrammed, minus one star for this. There is a newer model for this device, TD-W8970 which has three antennas, you probably don't need this. Note that the default settings for talktalk are wrong. You must set the MTU to 1432 AND change the TCP MSS to be 40 bytes less, i.e. 1392. MSS 1352 also works.
Summary: I got this product from the vendor at almost the same price as Flipkart, the reason for getting this was the positive reviews about TP-LINK in Flipkart, and is also affordable. My older modem was UTStarcom, provided good service but lacked wifi,so went for a new modem. TP-LINK TD-W8951ND did not have good wifi coverage so i went in for this model and signal is better by one point.Set up was very easy, the set up cd worked without a hitch and had to change a few parameters...
Summary: Recently bought the router from flipkart found to be excellent working, wireless signal covers two floors, saw there was router restarting issues, Guess should be factory defect, Security features are awesome, I am experiencing great browsing. As usual flipkart delivery on time and rocks.........
Summary: Hi brought this router and thought of sharing some inputs for flipkart buyers. Setup with Airtel broadband was done manually as it did not work with CD installation. After this initial hiccup, device is performing well. Start up is quick and connects instantly. Wifi range is good, with two 3dbi antenna's, could have been better. Both Anteannae's are detachable and can be upgraded to 8dbi which TP-Link sells seperately, but procurment could be a challenge.
Summary: There were few issues in delivery, but it got delivered within a week. Configuration was easier than expected. It will hardly take 2 minutes to configure your BSNL connection, if you follow the on-screen instructions properly. Range is decent. I have been using it since past 1 week and haven't encountered any issues.
Summary: This product is really worthy for the amount you put in it. The performance is awesome. It actually boosts the performance to the at most level. It has a nice ventilation, so heat dissipation from it is less compared to other products.
Summary: I was seriously looking to buy a ADSL2+ modem router within range of Rs. 2500/- as my old router went faulty and started behaving nasty. I shortlisted few like linksys, d-link and belkin. I liked d-link 2750u model very much for its price and features but going through detailed reviews on flipkart and other forums made me to rethink and start my search again. Luckily I found reviews about this TP Link model.
Summary: I've had this working for a week with no drop outs or problems, and it has provided a reasonable speed and range increase over my previous Sky 802.11g router, hence 4 stars. However, it is a pain to set up if you have Sky broadband. The reviewer below with AOL was able to get his DSL user name and password from an automated helpline, whereas Sky was very unhelpful. All the call centre operaative would state is 'we do not support equipment not supplied by Sky'.
Works great, but keep a lookout for the newer model

Summary: Bought this as a replacement for a dead Speedtouch router (that died while downgrading its' firmware). Easy to set up (my ISP Zen was in the preset list provided, but it doesn't look like entering the applicable values manually would have been difficult), and easy to switch on the wi-fi security. Been running this router for almost 2 weeks now.
Summary: As with its predecessor this router does an excellent job. However it did not as received. On a Mac (PowerMac G4) it lost connection every time the computer was turned off. Upgrading the firmware eventually sorted this but it was not a straightforward business on a Mac. Lesson: make your routers more Mac-friendly.
