This router has a standard design fault and should be withdrawn by TP-Link

Summary: This router has a standard design fault and should be withdrawn by TP-Link. We bought it despite some of the negative reviews, specifically about regular disconnections. Well, those negative reviews are all correct : even after firmware updates, disabling of the profiles that are not needed, and endless tweaking, the fact is that this is a totally unreliable ADSL router.
Summary: i had purchase on 2nd sept. 2012. after that i exchange 3rd time up to 3rd dec.2012. its main problem is link restart automatically within 10-20 min.( after start). i any one want to purchase adsl router, please purchase router from bsnl or d-link.
Summary: I bought this item after 4-5 days of seeing reviews, forums. I think I made a mistake. After about 2-3 weeks of usage these are my reviews. Sometimes at 15 feet in direct view of antenna, I get three bars. Eventhough I changed the channel to the best one ,sometimes at 5 feet even when there is no wall, I get only three bars!!! Barely 25 feet , with one wall, I get two bars!!! On 2nd floor terrace, i.e. two walls, I get one bar or nothing at all.
Summary: I have owned this router for a couple of months now and have found it reliable with good Wifi coverage throughout the house. Easy to set up too. ********Update June 2013******** Well it's 6 months in and things have all gone wrong. The router keeps failing to connect to the internet and the wifi keeps stopping. Amazon were very good and sent a replacement, which worked fine for 2 days but then the same fault process happened again. Full refund given by Amazon, Thanks!
Summary: The one star is for Amazon's return process which was the easiest I have ever used, with immediate returns of my money. This has been my second TP Link router and both have poor wireless setup and connection with various mobile devices. I had the previous version of this router and after less than a year the wireless connection began to fail. The signal would become unstable and connections would never hold.
Summary: I usually buy Netgear routers but I thought I'd go for TP-Link after hearing a lot of good reviews about them... Big mistake! I had multiple devices I wanted to connect to this router so I tried all the different types of wireless configurations and none of them allowed all of my devices online. So I left my XP offline and connected my other devices and they connected for about 5 minutes and then they all disconnected.
Summary: Bought this item to replace a 5 year old Netgear router which was dropping the WAN. I found this router very difficult to configure, no joy with the CD Wizard and not much better with the web wizard. Tried calls to ISP and 2 calls to TP Link help desk , eventually after 3rd reset to factory settings we got an internet connection and then was able to configure ... Hooray only took 5 hrs . Then on day one it dropped the internet connection 10 -12 times over an 8 period .
Summary: The TP-Link wireless router arrived, seemed well packaged with all the bits you would expect. Setup was easy although the interface was a little buggy and clunky. Once it was up and running the fun started: 1) Getting XBOX live to work required me to turn off the stateful firewall and even then it would only connect to certain parties. 2) Apple Air print doesn't work, seems that if the device sharing is on the wireless network then it all falls apart.
