Summary: Seems like a nice unit, bought it to replace my old "2Wire" modem, which still worked ok most of the time. The TP would not log on to my DSL no matter what I did. Called the cust service line 2x and spoke to 2 different reps, spent nearly 2 hrs on the phone with their diagnostics but the second one...
Summary: The problem was with the directions in the book. Called AT&T to configure and they charged me a one time fee. But the upside is I now have wi-fi. Should have purchased router from AT&T and spread the cost over a few months.
Summary: Nice easy setup. Includes an ADSL filter, LAN & RJ cable. I've has a few of these and they have been very reliable. Much better than the Edimax offering which seem to be often unreliable with frequent dropouts. Comes with a disk but I never use it. 192.168.1.1. admin: admin and away you go.
Summary: This Router is still working fine, well after I bought it. Runs my network well and accepts other pc's/laptops/Kindle in Ethernet or Wireless, with no problems. It was a little difficult to set up originally, but that was down to my tendency to rush.
Summary: As someone who does a lot of research before any purchase, I could not find any wireless router which has consistently received good reviews (except for Draytek Vigors- these are pricey...) for use with my PC & PS3. The PS3 is not configured to accept N-routers anyway so a G-router is fine.
Summary: Bought this for a computer illiterate friend who found the set-up to be easy. There have been no problems with holding a steady synch on a long line. The wireless works well throughout the house (an old cottage with thick walls). For the price paid, I cannot fault it.
Summary: This router was brought to replace the old one, which wasn't wireless and only had one ethernet port. This router is absolutely dreadful. Connection drops incredibly often, always seems to happen when downloading or uploading, for long periods of time, which never happened with the one one.
Summary: I bought 4 of these - 3 to act as wireless access points, one to use as a router. Whichever I use as a dhcp server/router it seems to hand out the same ip address to more than one device meaning sudden loss of internet +/- network access until the router is factory reset. This is happening daily.
Summary: I wasn't satisfied with the free router I got with my talktalk broadband so I tried this router, didn't know the brand but heard it was reliable..anyway it's great, never drops connection due to a great arial and seems razor sharp with loading pages/videos, just what I needed for around £20:).
