  • Summary: I took a chance buying this and I have to say that it completely exceeded all expectations I had for it. I'm using it right now. I have two of them one for just walking around in my bag pack and one of at home use. TP-Link completely hit me left field with the quality I even started buying other TP-Link products and they all have been outstanding this company is on the come up.

Great ethernet switch.

WJW222, Amazon

  • Summary: I had bought some cheapo 2 to 1 Ethernet splitters, they were totally junk. Saw this product recommended. Couldn't be happier. I had to run a 50' cable from my router to another part of the house. Added the switch there. Connected 2 computers to the switch, one close & one another 50' cable run away. Turned the computers on & they are working great. Beats the heck out of wireless. The input cable takes one of the 5 ports so you get 1 in to 4 out. Highly recommended.

Excellent for the money!

A. Brown, Amazon

  • Summary: I recently had to swap out a DirecTV HR21 DVR for an HR20 and was previously using the HR21 as a hub to connect my 20GB Playstation 3 to my home network (the HR21 has a built in "1-port hub", while the HR20 does not). As a result of the swap, I had to get an inexpensive hub in order to connect my PS3 to my home network. This hub is right for the money - it's no thrills, super easy configuration.

Works Great

Matachen, Amazon

  • Summary: The TP-Link Tl SF-1005D is an inexpensive and reliable switch that works very well with the router I use (the Linksys-Cisco WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router (Compatible with Linux) .) Installation is simplicity itself: plug it in and you are set to connect your computers. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
