Sharing (the Internet) is Caring

Connor Smith, Amazon
21 July 2015
  • Summary: I purchased this Ethernet switch after my roommate and I realized we needed two output cables and we only had one input socket. This switch allowed us to have up to four devices connected by Ethernet and is perfect for LAN parties.

Works as it should.

Christopher D., Newegg
7 July 2015
  • Pros: No problems, works as intended.
  • Cons: I suspect it doesn't quite get to 100Mbps with most devices but I can't confirm that.

KVM Switch

GEORGE N., Newegg
27 June 2015
  • Pros: Concept is good.
  • Cons: The USB connectors apparently aren't very tight, and cause involuntary disconnections of the plugs. I'm not able to use the KVM switch because of this.

Not for the Well of Hearing or those sensitive to EMI/coil whine

draco7891, Amazon
24 April 2015
  • Summary: Purchased for use as a simple switch to handle multiple devices. Worked fine as a networking device, however the power supply was a horrible no-name brand and both the supply and the switch had terrible EMI whine while operating, that changed in pitch and frequency as the device was used or the...

Does exactly what I needed

Jordan B., Newegg
17 April 2015
  • Summary: I bought this to connect to a Netgear 200 mpbs Powerline adapter, so i wouldn't have to constantly unplug the ethernet to swap between the PS4 and PC. With this switch I can play both simultaneously, and my ping and download/upload speeds have remained as consistent as they were when plugged...
  • Pros: Cheap, I got this for $10. -Plug and Play -No speed decrease
  • Cons: None that I can see.

Perfect for the Price I paid!

Carl T., Newegg
11 April 2015
  • Summary: When you are looking at switches the two big questions I think you need to ask yourself is how many devices will I be using, and how badly/if at all do I need 1000mbps speeds. I got this little guy for ten smackaroones and I couldn't be happier.
  • Pros: Small Reliable Fast enough for my needs Was really a steal of a price when I got it. I am a currently a college student and in my dorm I only have two Ethernet ports available to me. This is a problem when I have my desktop my laptop my tv my gfs laptop and other things I like to hook up to Ether...
  • Cons: If any exist it might be that it is limited to 100mbps so if you are lucky enough to have gigabit connection speeds you might want to look elsewhere.

Easy to set-up and works like it's supposed to work.

LaurenZ32, Amazon
7 April 2015
  • Summary: I have a router/modem in one (2Wire) and then the Apple Time Capsule plugged into that which is also a wireless router. I have multiple things plugged into both of those routers and still needed more room for additional devices (TV, DVD player, receiver, etc).
