Terrible Router, there is a reason why this is cheap garbage.

Summary: It's unfortunate that so many people have been taken in with this product, but I'm here to warn you: A lot of these reviews are fake. Just search Google for this company, Medialink, and you'll find almost no history and no reviews from legitimate websites. In fact, if you are wondering why this product looks IDENTICAL to another $20 router sold at Amazon by a company called Tenda, that's because it is the SAME router, just rebranded and with a different color.
Summary: This item comes with an installation cd and simple installation instructions. The problem is that if/when you get it working it will not continue to work. I bought this as an inexpensive router for my parents who rarely use wireless except for the phones i got them. My experience is that you will have connectivity issues ... eventually. And when you do you will lose you hair trying all the fixes Tenda has for this modem.
DOESNT WORK AT ALL AS A WIRELESS ROUTER-ZERO STARS
11 September 2014
Summary: THIS DOES NOT work AT all as a wireless router with my mac the only way I can get this stupid piece of crap to work is hard wired which defeats the whole purpose of a wireless router with a laptop. I cannot belive they sell this crap. It's THAT bad. It's sooooo frustrating when your trying to use the internet for simple things and you can FORGET ABOUT NEWS VIDEOS. This thing is junk. I'm going back to my G that's how bad it is.
Summary: Got from Microcenter free, doesn't work properly, wifi connect dis connect, waste my a lot time conjugating n resetting. Don't waste your money. It's simply trash including 1-800 customer service phone number.
Summary: Purchased this device from a local, very reputable audio dealer in Seattle in Dec '11. All iPads, iPhones, Macs, and PC's in our household connect to it's wireless signal, except my old 3G and brand new 4S does not. Called Comcast, who urged me to call Tenda. Tenda says it has 24/7 service, but a very difficult to understand Far Eastern individual with heavy accented parlance answered the call. He very quickly tried to sell a $169 1-yr service package. I objected.
Summary: I tried to connect this several times and compare it with a normal one, it keeps saying its limited connectivity. when I tried to return it the seller said it should be 14 days to return and he/she DID NOT even MENTION THE DEAD LINE FOR RETURN! THIS IS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD ON AMAZON. I STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND YOU BUY STUFFS FROM THIS SELLER. PLZ PAY ATTENTION TO THIS.
Summary: Here's my good deed of the day: a DHS daily email referred me to this article which states TENDA wireless routers from China have a hidden back door allowing access to your network. Here's a quote from the article: "My shiny new ReaverPro box made relatively short work of cracking WPS," he claimed, "providing access to the WLAN and a subsequent root shell on the router.
Summary: I was given 2 Tenda W268R Wireless-N routers for use at 2 AARP Tax-Aide sites where tax returns are prepared using online tax software. AARP/IRS requirements are to use WPA2 security with passwords to set up secured networks that are accessible only to our designated users. Unfortunately after setting up the Tenda routers with WPA2 security we had frequent internet connection issues as well as dropped printer connections. Very, very frustrating.
