Summary: This thing is probably the worst of all the tech equipment I've had over the years--and I'm a techie. As said above, the battery life is nil, and it's been impossible to get it to work consistently. Moreover, the flimsy glass cover cracked almost immediately even though it was in my leather briefcase. It must have pressed against it's HUGE charging plug. I'm quite pissed as I bought this for my 2-week family trip through Europe.
Cons: minimal battery life, easily cracked screen, very buggy
Summary: I paid more for what was marketed as a pay as you go plan because I only needed the mobile hot spot on an occasional basis. However, when I complained to T-Mobile, I was told that once a pass has expired, the service is deactivated (no one mentioned this when I bought the device at my local T-Mobile store). Why on earth would anyone buy a device that essentially "expires" after one use?
Pros: Device worked fine.
Cons: When I purchased the device, the information I received stated that it would be deactivated after 365 days of inactivity. However, it was deactivated after only 60 days of inactivity; I was told that I'd have to buy a new Sim card to reactivate it.
