Disappointing router

Chris W., Newegg
29 August 2013
  • Summary: Would not recommend.
  • Pros: Gigabit capability
  • Cons: First one replaced under warranty after a month or so. The second one is only a couple months old and, as other have stated, has started dropping wifi connection several times daily. Also, the range has little improvement over my older, non-gigabit router

Don't buy this

Alex P., Newegg
27 August 2013
  • Pros: Good dual band router and easy set up
  • Cons: This router is VERY VERY spotty. I bought one and set it up and after a month it doesn't connect anymore. Then got a replacement and the SAME EXACT thing happened after a month or two. Something is very odd with this item. I got a asus router afterwards and it's been working perfectly. Beware of this unit. I should of known it NOT to buy a cheap Rosewill.

Rosewill T600N - skip this model

Steven S., Newegg
23 July 2013
  • Summary: Rosewill usually has decent stuff, I have an older generation router hooked up at home and it works great. This model seems to have a lot of issues trying to set things up, and it's not just me. Maybe it's fixable, but I'm not trusting my business network to a router that I can't rely on.
  • Pros: -Priced well for a gigabit router.
  • Cons: Unfortunately, my faith in Rosewill products was not rewarded this time. Like other reviewers of this product, my router would not hold a steady connection to my modem. Manual settings didn't seem to help. Spent a few hours troubleshooting, but this is for a computer repair business, so if automatic settings don't work, i'm not going to be typing out new settings for every machine I hook up to my bench.
