Great router....bad power supply

electr0_junkie, Amazon
17 August 2010
  • Summary: Just thought I would throw my 2 cents in on this router. The router is great, fast and reliable. Netgear is the best out there as I have tried the others and still cannot come close to reliability and features.

Above average router

Mohammed M. Ashfaq, Amazon
12 July 2010
  • Summary: The router is pretty good but doesn't have too much range. I thought it would be beastly because it was a gigabit router but I was wrong. In the end though, it does get the job done

Rocky Start, but Getting Better

R. Clary, Amazon

  • Summary: I have used this router for a little more than 30 days. Setup was very time-consuming, but may be due to a firmware problem. tl88, Amazon
22 February 2008
  • Summary: I purchased the router about 5 months ago (10/2007) had it up and running in no time. Love it. Came home one night and got the visit from the green light of death god (2/2008). Called customer service and was surprised they handled my call very quickly.

Router = excellet. Power supply = flawed.

Hyperion Alpha, Amazon
23 October 2007
  • Summary: Let me say first off, this is an excellent router. It is my personal favourite of all routers that I have either owned or worked with. I realize that many people here (and elsewhere) have been burned by this router but if you'll bear with me, I'll justify my four stars by explaining why yours might...

RangeMax

Ultimate Fixer, Amazon
23 October 2007
  • Summary: I bought this router primarily for its GB LAN support because of some NAS I have connected to a four-drop hardwired network within the house. It has provided excellent security protection and total reliability.

Hardly Usable

SKG, Amazon
7 June 2007
  • Summary: First let me say that I am a very knowledgeable user. I work for Microsoft as a senior developer, and have a lot of experience with routers. As with most of NetGears routers, this thing is almost unusable.

Works great, could be smaller

S. Berry, Amazon
8 January 2007
  • Summary: Actually the router works great and the signal strength is also wonderful. We have not had any issues and we have been using it for a couple of months now. It does not have the big blue "strobe" light like others have.
