Summary: Mediocre LAN throughput and abysmal wifi reliability. Wireless radio had problems right from the start; would stop working a couple times each day and we'd have to restart it. Whole thing just stopped dead after less than a month of regular usage.
Summary: My initial feelings towards this device was great, up until it continued to disconnect regularly and other problems. Some say it's due to the product design , on ho it overheats. Either way I would not recommend this to anyone. Save your money
Summary: Yes. between the seller's description and previous buying this product from a store such as Fry's Electronics Store. I have found this product to work reliably and met my expectations. I don't think this would be for a novice computer person.
Summary: Loved this device while it worked. Had it about 6 months and it died and had to get a new one. Seems that most netgear things have a very short work life. Got myself a Apple Extreme, and LOVE it, been working none stop since this one died.
Summary: I bought this router primarily for its GB LAN support because of some NAS I have connected to a four-drop hardwired network within the house. It has provided excellent security protection and total reliability.
Summary: This router is powerful, fast and easy to setup. Firmware updates are easy too if you have a PC, but difficult if you have a Macintosh. To update firmware with a Mac you must use a virtual PC operating then it becomes easy.
Summary: Let me say first off, this is an excellent router. It is my personal favourite of all routers that I have either owned or worked with. I realize that many people here (and elsewhere) have been burned by this router but if you'll bear with me, I'll justify my four stars by explaining why yours might...
