Excerpt: The NetGear WNR834B Router has been a great product for us. It was pretty easy to get up and running. Wonderful cusomer service to walk you through any problems you might have. We have a desktop and two laptops connected to this router with no problems whatsoever. Would definitely buy a NetGear product again.
Excerpt: This router is very easy to assemble and use, even for those less tech-saavy. I've never had an issue with the use of it, we even have it set up to run our Wii wireless and the connectivity is great!

Excerpt: I bought this Maxrange Netgear Wireless router so my daughter could hook into my internet connection. I have a desktop computer and she has a laptop. We both are on the computer, on average, about 14 hours a day and we love the ease of our connections. This item was very easy to hook up and get started. We just read the directions, hooked in the ethernet wire, plugged it into the wall and inserted the software. It was completely self-explainatory and so simple...

Excerpt: This router is pretty good when it was released and now a decent bargain router for people who are still using 802.11g. Of course many other routers are producing newer models that's better priced and has better speed. One would just have to decide if this is worth $20-30 compare to the other...
Excerpt: I bought the v1 model last year - refurbished. The router worked flawlessly in the Wireless N and G mode. I used it primarily in the "Mixed Mode" so that both N/G devices could co-exist. Int eh Wireless-N mode, the router did a consistent 130Mbps but in a few months, the rates kept...
"After 6 months, no problems, no dropped signals."
7 September 2009
Pros: Trouble free for past six months in use 24/7 always in service. Easy initial setup, plus one button SSID broadcast. Easilly sets up guest computers with a push of a button once initial settings are made. Always a strong signal.
Cons: REQURES NETGEAR "N" ADAPTERS on remote equipment for best performance. MAY work with other leading brands but at reduced speed.
Summary: It took my husband many hours to set up this piece of equipment, but it works very well. I think this type of equipment is difficult to set up unless you are a trained technician. We have had no problems with the reuter so far.
