Summary: I bought this router after much research. When I tried to install it, it immediately came back with an error. I tried several times, and even tried to manually install it. Finally after much frustration, I called Netgear. I was told by them that they couldn't help me as my 30 days of free technical help had expired, even though I had only had the router for 2 days!
Summary: I bought this router brand new from Best Buy and it lasted just past the factory warranty. Then it decided to go completely dead. No lights come on, it just stopped working for no reason. Technical support was kind enough to inform me that they would do nothing and I'm stuck with a dead unit. Thanks Netgear for your quality product! Never buying their junk again.
Summary: Netgear does make good stuff, but the WNR834 is definitely a lousy product. Summary: Product worked great(when it worked). My first one lasted 8 months and died for no reason. After an excruciating experience with Netgear tech support, they reluctantly sent me a replacement. This one is now dead after only five months. Don't buy this router unless you can purchase them in a six-pack.

The setup of the product was relatively straight forward, although the interface was very plain. My first complaint is that the quick setup forces you to have the device connected up to the internet at the same time it is connected to your PC, this is extremely annoying since most people will have...
