Excerpt: I have used this for over a year and have had great luck with it. I live in an area that is hard to get service because of the location and Netgear has not failed me. I would recommend it to anyone. I also got a good deal for price so it is well worth it.
Excerpt: I like my Netgear WNR3500. For the most part, it keeps us connected to the outside world. Occasionally, it will drop the signal, but that might happen once a week and only for a moment or 2. I have tried other brands and they have were far worse at dropping the signal than this brand and particualr model. Do I reccomend this? Yes, I would. It has 2 encryptions and I do use both. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use.
Very pleasing to the eyes and a great router from NetGear! Worth the money

Summary: A great upgrade from my netgear wireless g router I had for a couple years. It looks fantastic with the antenna lights on the top. It doesn't drop the connection when gaming and streaming. The product is reliable and fast.
Summary: The router is quite stable .initially it was dropping the wireless connection a lot , i scanned the other network in the area and noticed most of them to be using channel 10 on 2.4 . I moved mine to channel 5 instead of auto and its been working fine after that. Remember the parental control feature is there in wnr3500 V2 and this can handle upto two VPN tunnels easy.It also has 1GB ports which is a big plus. I liked the range of the router too.
"Works like it should - nothing great, nothing bad"

Pros: Very simple to setup right out of the box. DDNS was simple to get going. Security has all the bells and whistles required to keep bad guys out. Remote administration works great.
Cons: Every now and then it seems to lose its configuration, so backup after every change! You can't get a better router unless you venture into the enterprise level. This is fine for a SOHO environment. The LEDs are almost bright enough to read by!
Summary: Great value for the money! Haven't experienced any issues except setup cd is not compatable with win 7 32bit or 64bit. I downloaded a "fix" from netgear's website still no dice. You are able to configure the router through the devices web page.
Summary: I like the reliability of this router. The wifi is fast and has a very wide range. I love the fact that the range is strong enough for me to use my wireless devices outdoors without getting dropped. I have had to reset it once in order because it kept dropping my signal but for the amount of time I have had this unit, I really cant complain on its performance and speed. I'm able to stream without interuption.
Summary: as soon as i hooked it up, i was already online, did not have to program anything or load drivers. my parents are next door, they didnt see an increase in the range of this n router compared to my G router, but i dont know if they were looking at it right.
Pros: It was an easy plug and play out of the box experience, and continues to work. It is obvioulsy compatible with Comcast (which can be very picky about routers). Speed and range, good; getting 175 mps from laptop at other end of the house (4400 sf).
