Summary: Great product and had no problems with it being a referb in any way. It has been on since I set it up and I like that I can turn off the wifi with the button in the front. I didn't need to have the Genie disk, it came up when I plugged in the router in an app from the router.
Summary: After doing an extensive amount of research, I settled with the netgear wndr500 due to its credibility and affordability. I wasn't looking for the extra bells and whistles just as long as it does what it's supposed to do which is to get me connected with my comcast internet.
Summary: Fast speed WiFi and covers the entire house with 5 band coverage. The one it replaced, the 600, lost at least two bars going back to the bedrooms at the opposite end of the house from the study.
Summary: I think i'm very lucky because i received WNDR4500v2 not a Costco model. Actually i worried about it and now i'm happy. There's no buzz noise anymore.(I have been stressed because of the Netgear AC1200's buzz noise.) Fast and strong Wifi connections, firmware supports.
Summary: Bought this model because it was listed as being compatible with the new DirecTV system. Works like a charm and has better range than the Linksys that it replaced (in fairness, it was > 5 years old).
