Summary: Fast speed WiFi and covers the entire house with 5 band coverage. The one it replaced, the 600, lost at least two bars going back to the bedrooms at the opposite end of the house from the study.
Summary: I think i'm very lucky because i received WNDR4500v2 not a Costco model. Actually i worried about it and now i'm happy. There's no buzz noise anymore.(I have been stressed because of the Netgear AC1200's buzz noise.) Fast and strong Wifi connections, firmware supports.
Summary: Set up was not hard. The problem was the performance; my bandwidth dropped from previous router and also continuously lost connectivity with router on the hardwired and wireless devices. I have bought refurbish devices before, first time I had to return one.

Summary: Bought this model because it was listed as being compatible with the new DirecTV system. Works like a charm and has better range than the Linksys that it replaced (in fairness, it was > 5 years old).
