Summary: This item worked great for a couple months but now won't allow wifi devices to connect to the Internet. Now I am stuck with this product as well as having to go buy a new device to replace it.
Summary: Works fine for me, but my husband has trouble when watching Netflix. He has his computer plugged direction in so he doesn't use the wifi, but it still somehow messes with the video and causes a fuzzy image and weird popping sounds. We disabled the wifi on his computer but it still does it.
Summary: After doing an extensive amount of research, I settled with the netgear wndr500 due to its credibility and affordability. I wasn't looking for the extra bells and whistles just as long as it does what it's supposed to do which is to get me connected with my comcast internet.
Summary: Fast speed WiFi and covers the entire house with 5 band coverage. The one it replaced, the 600, lost at least two bars going back to the bedrooms at the opposite end of the house from the study.
Summary: I think i'm very lucky because i received WNDR4500v2 not a Costco model. Actually i worried about it and now i'm happy. There's no buzz noise anymore.(I have been stressed because of the Netgear AC1200's buzz noise.) Fast and strong Wifi connections, firmware supports.
Summary: Set up was not hard. The problem was the performance; my bandwidth dropped from previous router and also continuously lost connectivity with router on the hardwired and wireless devices. I have bought refurbish devices before, first time I had to return one.
