Summary: As all ethernet cables and cable modem meet up in a metal box imbedded in an exterior wall on the far end of our house, I have no intention of using the wireless aspect of this. Actually disabling this feature proved surprisingly difficult - the router GUI gives you the option of enabling or disabling each individual band (2.4 and 5) via menu - except it won't actually allow you to make the changes.
Excerpt: Setup would have been extremely quick & easy if I had ignored Internet Explorer's warning not to go to the website setup takes you to. After much frustration I started over, and went to the website. Quick & easy after that & connected immediatly. Then I moved the unit next to my powered speaker, and the speaker started chirping & the internet disconnected. Tried everything including moving it away from the speaker, & finally called tech. support. What a joke!

Summary: Considering a router? Do you use Mac computers? Do you have an external, USB hard drive? If you answered yes to all three, this is your baby. The ONLY complaint I have so far, is that you cannot use this to retransmit an existing wifi signal; a complaint that comes only after a very specific situation 99% of the populace won't run into. Otherwise, this guy is spot-on.
