Summary: First off, the WNDR37AV is the same unit as WNDR3700. Now as far as routers go, I've done a lot of research and finally went with this one. This unit is replacing a D-Link DIR-655 which I've had for almost 3 years. For the past 4 months or so, the D-Link was freezing and needed constant reboots.
Summary: I had gone to Best Buys to get "educated" on the features and prices and to get the techs opinion of the current models. This one had it all but was too expensive there. I got home, logged on and searched the model numbers that I had chosen from Best Buys. After about 2 minutes of looking, I saw the one that was more money that I wanted to spend at the store for less than the one that I was going to settle for! I'm totally happy with my upgraded home network!
Summary: On time. Great product. No problems. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzz ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz
Summary: This router is amazing. It took me 20 minutes to setup because i had to power cycle it after the firmware upgrade. I actually called Netgear and had them walk me through the process even though it was very simple. The had me set it up from the GUI instead of the CD. After setting it up, I noticed a drastic increase in my speeds. My Desktop has never loaded web pages so fast. I decommissioned my 4 year old Linksys wrt54g version 6.
Great Router. 5GHz requires dual band adapter. Current Gaming Consoles do NOT support Dual Band.

Summary: The router is fast. Connections are easily stablished, no drops, great range. I suggest not using the included CD, just log into the webpage listed on the instructions and this will take care of updates for your router. I do recommend using access control list with a security password to access your wireless network; it is basically a list where you input your wireless devices' MAC addresses, that way, you have an extra layer of security on your network.
Summary: Best range, reliability, and throughput of any wifi router I've owned. And the colored LEDs look BAD ASS in the dark. Works great with wifi devices all over the house (~2500 sq ft) and the yard too. I choose to get a single dual band router for simplicity (don't want two routers), and because of the backwards compatibility.
