Summary: Works exactly as advertised, they just never mentioned how slow the USB access is. Browsing a folder with 400 folders of music artists takes minutes. Once you have something streaming thought it's flawless so far. Full resolution TED talks run just fine. Simple to connect to via Playstation 3, Mac (Mountain Lion tested), or PC (via ftp).
Summary: We just switched from DSL to Cable. I wanted to just have one cable through the wall in the Living Rm. This router was perfect. Wired it to our RoKu, PopBox, and Diretv DVR. Placed a 1.5TB USB Hard Drive at the Router's USB input as a Network Drive (Z). Then the Computors are Wireless N so the speed is fine.
Summary: I purchased the WNDR37AV from Amazon, but received the WNDR3700v2. While the v2 is a newer model, the firmware is not updated like the 37AV or 3700v1 which means you will experience dropouts in web page loading. The connection will remain solid, but the actual loading of web pages just will not happen 50% of the time. NETGEAR stated that the v2 should not appear in a AV box, but Amazon had to send me another one only to find the exact same thing happen.
