The Netgear WNDR3700 is part of the Rangemax™ Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit router with IEEE 802.11n draft version 2.0 standards and has Simultaneous Dual Band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) operation. The unit measures 223 x 153 x 31 mm (8.8 x 6.0 x 1.2 in) and weighs 0.5 kg (1.2 lb). It has a 680 MHz powerful MIPS 32-bit Processor, with 8 MB flash and 64 MB RAM memory and supports FAT16/32, NTFS Read/Write USB NETStorage. It has Denial-of-service (DoS) and stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall, WPA2 and WPA (by PSK and Enterprise), Pin and Push Button WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), Advanced Quality of Service (QoS). The unit comes with a stand, ethernet cable, Setup CD and Auto Backup software, and power adapter (localized to country of sale). It requires Broadband (cable, DSL) Internet service and modem with Ethernet connection, 2.4 or 5.0 GHz 802.11n Draft/802.11 a/b/g specification wireless adapter, or an Ethernet adapter and cable for each computer. System requirements are Microsoft® Windows® Vista™, XP, 2000, Me, Mac® OS, UNIX®, or Linux®, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox®, or Safari.

The WNDR3700 also features one touch power on/off and WiFi on/off buttons to save energy when not in use, adjustable power and range setting for up to 75% reduced power consumption by adjusting transmit power and the gigabit green switch that does auto power level adjustment and sleep mode when not in use.
