Summary: We have constantly had problems with RV park WiFi. I bought another brand of extender, but it is connected to my computer with a short usb cord and the computer is in the front of our coach. It works great at most parks, but because of our location in this particular park, the signal was better, but still weak. I purchased the Netgear N300 and installed it in a wall outlet in the bedroom in the rear of our coach (more in the line of sight with the park's router). Voila!

Summary: The manual for this talks about a lot of technical things you do not have to do. All you need to do is plug it in and reboot your computer, then follow the web page instructions that come up automatically. This gave me 4 or 5 bars in a basement where I had 2 or 3 before. I also plan to use this for traveling, with those hotel/motel Wi-Fi problems.
Excerpt: We live in a medium sized one floor condo but we had a prominent spot that was a dead zone for the internet. This range extender immediately made a major difference. I was up and running after a few minutes. I like the fact that it is compact and plugs into a nearby electrical outlet. I would recommend this to anyone with a dead zone problem.
Excerpt: we have a 2 story house with office down and upstairsno cabling in the house so we use wireless Tried other devices and they all have issues keeping connected but not with this one always there sure reduced the frustration level
Excerpt: I live in a 3 story condo, with the cable motem and main living area is on the second floor and my bedroom is on the first floor. I was having a major problem getting a good wifi signal on my laptop when I was in my room and could not find an easy way to adjust the signal I was getting. This item was on sale and I figured it couldnt hurt to try it. I am amazed how easy the set up process was and how fast it synced to the wifi network.
Excerpt: I bought this extender to replace a larger tabletop extender which didn't work as well after we moved. Originally I thought the router was the problem so I went out and bought a new one only to find that the new router didn't make any difference. The problem I was experiencing was that I would have to move the extender very close to the area where I was using my tablet and finding a place near an outlet with a spot I could put the extender without having it stand out or...
Summary: Great router, easy to set up and get going. Range not quite as good as I expected. Reaches all rooms in my house how ever does not reach my travel trailer in the drive way as I was hoping it would. I had to solve the problem by using a range extender. Otherwise this is a great router and would highly recommend it.
