Summary: We have constantly had problems with RV park WiFi. I bought another brand of extender, but it is connected to my computer with a short usb cord and the computer is in the front of our coach. It works great at most parks, but because of our location in this particular park, the signal was better, but still weak. I purchased the Netgear N300 and installed it in a wall outlet in the bedroom in the rear of our coach (more in the line of sight with the park's router). Voila!
Excerpt: I purchased this because my netgear router would not reach my downstairs billard and entertainment room that was 64 feet away. this extender allows me to view my netflicks on the tv in my downstairs entertainment room but also improved my reception in the other rooms including both work shops, so I can link my computers and printer while I do my designing and metal and wood work along wth my restoration work on my antiques.
Excerpt: We live in a medium sized one floor condo but we had a prominent spot that was a dead zone for the internet. This range extender immediately made a major difference. I was up and running after a few minutes. I like the fact that it is compact and plugs into a nearby electrical outlet. I would recommend this to anyone with a dead zone problem.
Excerpt: we have a 2 story house with office down and upstairsno cabling in the house so we use wireless Tried other devices and they all have issues keeping connected but not with this one always there sure reduced the frustration level
Excerpt: This product is great! I had to use the browser-based setup utility to initialize it. It was easy to do, but I had hoped that the WPS button on my router would sync it -- it didn't. Once it was synced (logged onto my network), I could move it around easily and find the best location to extend the WIFI. It provides a very strong signal -- actually better than the Cisco router. It makes it easy to add a new location (in my case, the house next door).
