Excerpt: So far, this has been a great product. Again, it was purchased for work, but the one I had before, kept overheating and I was constantly losing internet connection. I haven't had any problems since work purchased this new one. Loving it so far!
Excerpt: Replaced Sysco router that had been dropping the interned connection and wi-fi. Had to reboot frequently. Was only 8 months old and fought it for the last 6 weeks. New Netgear was easily set up and working flawlessly. Very pleased.
Excerpt: Very easy to install. The hardest part was getting my password from my internet provider who had supplied the original modem. The instructions on getting information from your internet provider was very helpful so I knew exactly what to ask when I called. We had no problems with setup; no need to call Netgear for help on anything.
Excerpt: I wanted to convert a desk top to wireless in order to eliminate some of the wires in order to make vacuuming easier! The only problems I encountered was locating/understanding where, what was security code (I'm in my UPPER 70's) Once that was accomplished all is well, If that could be labeled clearly on the box it would be helpful. if only I can remember to turn the key board on & off...
Excerpt: I installed this Modem/Router at two different locations. The first location I experienced intermittent drops in connection. The drops didn't happen too often, but if your playing online games (and hard core at that) you really don't want ANY drops. For the most part, if your just surfing or watching youtube, you'll hardly notice the difference. I also noticed that the connection was a little slower. This scenario was using Sonic's Legacy DSL product.
Excerpt: The Netgear Genie software that allows any printer that is USB plugged into the N300 Modem/Router does not work. Netgear Genie "AirPrint" option is not compatible with this N300 Modem/Router even though the box says it is. Other than that it was easy to setup software.
Excerpt: This WiFi USB adapter NETGEAR N 300 is absolutely perfect. The computer is much faster. Connections are faster and very dependable. I should have upgraded to the WNA 3100 months ago instead of dealing with difficulty connecting.
