Summary: It's supposed to come with 2 legs to hold it up, it only came with 1, only 1 does not work. :( The product it's self works good. Just wish it came with the extras it says its supposed to come with.
Summary: This router has "auto 108" mode which should select either 108 Mbps or 54 Mbps depending on which type of WiFi card you have. This DOES NOT work! The WiFi card will always default to 54 Mbps mode even if you are only using NearGear's Super G 108 capable cards for WLAN.
Summary: The Netgear WGT624 router is a great router for home use, especially in a home with both wired and wireless PCs. I use mine with an IBM ThinkPad using 802.11b wireless and two Power Mac G4 towers connected via Ethernet. I also have a Brother laser printer connected wirelessly to the network.
Summary: This router is nice as long as you don't have neighbors. The Atheros chip that Super-G is based on has a nasty design "feature" where it uses all 11 channels of 802.11 spectrum, causing problems for neighbors. My neighbor has it and we're trying to solve the interference.
Summary: I purchased my WGT624 v2 from amazon.com. As soon as I pulled it out of the box it was constantly rebooting (dropping me off the internet both wired and wireless). I was able to fix it though and I will tell you how and what happened.
