Excerpt: This router is extremely fast and has a long range. Set up was easy on my Windows 7 system and it found all the computers in my environment. It did not find some printers that were setup for manual configuration -- once that was changed all was well.
Excerpt: More than doubled my household range (2.4gig) form old Cisco wireless Lynksys. Stable signal. Good internet interface. Wireless printing now with w/ 3Gig usb port; a savings from having to buy a new AirPrint laser printer! Have not yet attached my HD for photos and music central storage
I have enjoyed the product for 18 months, not much to worry about

Summary: This is a great router! My old router (asus) was good, but when buffering videos they'd always freeze and that's annoying when trying to watch a movie. With the nighthawk there's no more freezing even with 20 connections at a time.
Excerpt: I got this router after some research and several recommendations for it. I expected great things. My service is 100mps up and down (EPB in Chattanooga TN. Known as the fastest isp in the country, can deliver a true gig both ways for $ more per mo.).
Excerpt: This router is fast, has great range, and is packed with features. The internal switch is very strong. I'm using it to network to a switch located over 200 feet away and it has no trouble picking up the signal that my other router couldn't even find.
Cons: The router disconnects several times a day. I have a modem, ATT Microcell and router connected to a surge protector but the router is the only thing having issues. I've already updated the firmware and looked through Netgear forums looking for answers but nothing seems to work.
Pros: Fast when working. - responsive - handle many clients fine
Cons: These don't stand a chance with the smallest electric surge. First one broke on the day with thunderstorm 1.5 month ago. It was just a little over 1 year after purchase so no warranty would cover it. So I guess I would just buy another one. Today there was storm too and the second one broke on me...
