Excerpt: This brand new router only worked for an hr and failed. called tech sup. waited for 46 min b4 talked to the worst tech sup i've ever experienced. he asked me plug, unplug, hit reset button and reset again and again and again. we did this for about 30 min. nothing happened so he asked me to type in ip add in the browser, again we repeat this process over and over and over for another 20 min. finally i had to give up.
Summary: Was very satisfied with the router until it stopped working after two weeks. After attempting to contact Netgear both by phone and email with no success, I was forced to purchase a different router from a different manufacturer and return this one.
Summary: purchased this hoping to save some money. Instead I just got headaches. returned for a new unit not remanufactured. the unit kept disconnecting. Netgear genie kept attempting to restart the router and within a few hours it would stop and disconnect. no matter what I was connected to ethernet or wireless it would not stay connected.
