Summary: I bought the Netgear C3700 cable modem for my Mom's computer because it was on Cox's approved cable modem list. I had momentary doubts when I checked Cox's self-activation site(I'm on Cox at my house too) and noticed that it was missing from the drop down list(along with many others that are on the...
Summary: The speed was amazing compared to the Motorola Surfboard we are renting from Cable One but after days of trying to set up the Parental Controls I gave in and emailed support, later that day I received this message from Netgear: "I am really sorry for the inconvenience.
Summary: I purchased this item because I wanted to upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.0. I own an N600 wireless router and the Netgear Genie software was simple to use so I came to trust the name. Also, I wanted to clean up my corner area and have less wires around.
Summary: I am a bit disappointed with this purchase. Even though the router specs say that it can provide upto 340 mbps when connected to TWC network it can only handle upto 100 mbps. This is not a good router if you are looking for speeds more than 100 mbps.
Summary: The main reason I bought this modem/router was to protect my children from the www. The online application for Netgear Genie and its parental controls DO NOT WORK. You cannot access OpenDNS through this software at all.

I was on the phone with 5 different people from Staples and given 4 different phone numbers and never did talk to a tech that could answere any questions so I took the unit back to the store and received...

Summary: Works great for Comcast. However, I soon discovered two major problems (at least for me). The year is now 2015 and the first problem for me with this router is that it does not support VPN pass through (out of the box).
