2 are stacked

John F., Newegg
18 August 2009
  • Summary: Just waiting for my clients to grow so I can grab a few more!!
  • Pros: I've had these in service for about a year. No problems what so ever. These things are solid like other Netgear appliances I've used. I don't know about your server room but the fans aren't all that loud. these are in a rack, in a climate controlled server room with 6 severs+other "fanned" hardwa...

Very Nice Switch

Andrew Y., Newegg
21 March 2009
  • Summary: This is switch is the main backbone in my whole house. I have 2 Tivos, 2 Desktops, 2 laptops (mostly of the time wired), HP Server, 3 Squeezebox network music players, PS3, Belkin Network USB Hub and Denon receiver. No hiccups or problems like I had with Lin***s brands.
  • Pros: Very easy set-up and can work on a home network without having to manage the switch. Also very fast through put. Lifetime warranty.
  • Cons: The fan is somewhat noisy so thanks to the fact it is my basement.

fUji™, Amazon
16 May 2008
  • Summary: This my 2rd stacked unit along side the previous ones I've gotten. They all work together as intended. They stack very easily. they have tons of features for this price range for a 1Gig Stackable unit compared to others. I like the life time warranty on them. highly recommend for small businesses.

Great Expandable Switch

Jonathan Schalliol, Amazon
16 May 2008
  • Summary: This is a great unit that provides most of the features of a managed switch at a low price. The stackable function however is top notch. Stacking units with a HDMI cable is a pretty smart way to do it, making it quite cheap for additional capacity requirements.

Enterprise for small companies

shockwavecs, Amazon
16 May 2008
  • Summary: Excellent. Enterprise for small companies. Stackable up to 6 switches. Link aggregation groups are limited but can span the whole stack. Nice indicators on the front to tell you which switch is 1,2,3,4,5,6. Comes WITH stacking cable. That's a huge plus.

Nice switches for the money

Steve Heaton, Amazon
16 May 2008
  • Summary: Replaced older Netgear switches. Good warranty, though if you do not spring for the over night express replacement, you will wish you did if a critical switch fails. we bought 4, and needed only 2.5, the other 1 is a spare. why well they manufacturers Love to change models every year.
