Summary: This switch fully met our expectations. We were looking for a dumb 32 port gigabit switch without a fan, and although this switch this is a "smart" switch it seems to do a great job out of the box with no changes to its default configuration. Seems to work well.

Summary: This has worked well in our home. I wire instead of using wireless whenever possible - which isn't easy in a house that wasn't pre-wired. But the reason I went to this type of switch was to isolate misbehaving devices. Every once in a while one our our DVRs (DirecTV) would act up and bring the entire wired network to it's knees. I'd have to restart everything after having restarted the misbehaving device first. This has fit the bill perfectly.
Summary: The GS724T-300 (NAS for North American) are fanless switches with silent operation. They have direct power instead of a power brick. The bad reviews must be for another model and not the GS as this switch is fanless. [...
Summary: Very good product at a very good price. I install many of these for clients. One port on one switch failed in over 100 devices installed. Netgear advance replaced the defective switch with zero hassle.
