Contrary to one of the other reviews, this is a switch, not a router. I have had mine for a while (longer then the warranty) and have had at least one port go bad. Others seem to continue to work. I have both 1GB and 10/100 devices connected. Read more

This Gigabit switch as well as the other Netgear Gigabit switches work great! I have replaced a few dozen Linksys Gigabit switches in the past year and will never buy Linksys again. They are dropping like flies! Thankfully I found these fantastic Netgear Gigabit switches. My customers and I thank you Netgear! I have run this switch with a wide range of cards and other switches on the network and no problems with compatibility at all. Read more

The lights on the front are very useful for indicating whether the connected device is operating at 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps. Read more
