Works great with Synology DS 1815+

Amazon Shopper, Amazon
23 April 2015
  • Summary: So far so good. Works great with my Synology DS 1815+. Supports LACP / Link Aggregation. Not too difficult to set up. Just looked through the menus and googled whatever I wanted to do that I couldn't figure out on my own. This is version 2 (v2).

I was pleased to find out that the performance of this switch ...

RC Davis, Amazon
7 March 2015
  • Summary: After initially purchasing the GS108E Netgear switch for a gigabit network upgrade, I found that switch to offer intermittently slower data transfer speeds than expected. Based on reviews, I then decided to return it and move up to this GS108T model.

  • Summary: Great little switch. It's managed so I was able to use it to create Link Aggregate Groups for my NIC teaming on my servers.

Netgear GS-108T

Anonymous, Newegg
24 February 2015
  • Summary: If you need a eight 1000 GBE switch (for business or home), this is were you start
  • Pros: FINALLY! A product that works as it's suppossed to. I have never given a product five eggs on Newegg; that's about all that needs to be said.
  • Cons: Absolutely none ... well I wish there were more ports, but fore the money I am not complaining.

Great little switch!

Vince Valenti, Amazon
12 January 2015
  • Summary: For around $80, this is a great little switch. I have it mounted to the back of my entertainment center, and powered via PoE from my main switch. It's nice to be able to eliminate an extra cable back there since it's so crowded already.

TONS of feature for the price!

Mark V., Newegg
8 January 2015
  • Summary: For the price this thing is awesome. We're a Cisco shop through and through but inevitably end up needing some small workgroup switches at some branches. With this need, fear number one is users creating loops, but this switch runs STP....check Also, we want management from across the WAN...
  • Pros: - VLAN upport - STP support - etherchannel support (incl. LACP) - QOS - SNMP, NTP, port security, Layer 2 ACLs - Dead silent - MORE
  • Cons: Could only be made better by adding a CLI, but it would probably suck anyway

great switch - even better company

cosmo "cosmo", Amazon
30 December 2014
  • Summary: I started looking for a new switch when my netgeat unmanaged switch went bad. I decided to get a managed switch in-order to separate devices on my network that could be a security hole (such as: SIP, cable box, alarm).
