Summary: I switched to the NetGear GS108PE on Sharx's advice because of PoE problems with a similar switch from TP-Link. I believe the TP-Link attempts to start all PoE devices simultaneously and doesn't handle the startup current draw gracefully.
Summary: This device runs well if one knows how to setup without the included low-grade SW on the CD. Look for the Mac address on the DHCP client list and your are in business.
Pros: PoE and regular LAN ports work as expected. Web-based management option if you know the IP address of the device.
Cons: Included software by Netgear to manage device is bloated. It requires installation or 2 third party programs which are required for the main program to run. The included software is Windows only, no Mac or Linux options. After installation from the included CD, the program failed to run. Deleting...

Summary: So far, this has been a great purchase for us and delivers exactly what is promised. There are others that say they give out over 18 months. We're getting close to that right now, so we'll see. We purchased it to handle the delivery of power to a high end voip conference phone.
