Summary: We own two of these switches. One of them has seemed fined, but it connects a less-important set of network devices. The other switch, the one attached to a couple servers, has been buggy and problematic.

Summary: This switch has the best mounting method that I have ever come across. It can mount flat on a wall or surface or it can mount on its back edge. There is a mounting bracket that you screw to surface, then the switch clicks into place and can be removed easily with the push of a button.
Summary: In case buyers are confused about the difference between GS108 and GS108E (the Plus version), let me explain. The Plus switch is not an update, but rather a feature-enhanced version. If you do not need VLAN or QoS, you probably don't need the Plus version.
Summary: Got two of theses to put an Ethernet network across my basement. My transfer speeds have now tripled. No lag on my PlayStation or NETFLIX anymore. Good product, now I have to figure out how to get an Ethernet line upstairs to speed up things up there.
Not getting the throughput expected from this type of product.

Summary: My switch just arrived today and after a quick swap out of the temporary 5 port Netgear I was using to hold me over until this arrived, and a then running a speed test with my ISP, this thing FAILED and got boxed right back up for return.
Summary: This switch does exactly what it is advertised to do. I am slightly disappointed that the software (included with this switch) is only compatible with Windows, not Mac. However if you want plug-and-play this device will do just that.
