Summary: I had same situation. when I disconnect the WAN connection and re-connect it, it will never get Internet back up. I am so tired of spending so much time troubleshooting this device any more. They thought a replacement will address the issue, but it is acting the same way.

Summary: OMG, both hardware and production support are horrible. I bought 2 and have to return both. I have two FVS114 for years and getting ready to upgrade to the GigE version since my ISP provider is providing 150mbps download.
Summary: Same as others have said before. Speedy firewall, and good lan to wan speeds but only when it works. Out of the box with the default firmware it worked ok. Upgraded the firmware and wow what a difference. Speedy and I'm finally getting the full advantage of a 60Mbs internet connection.
Summary: I bought this device over a year ago. About a month later the WAN connection stopped working. At first, the connection LED would remain on, but the status showed WAN disconnected. After a while of debugging and disconnecting and reconnecting the cable, the LED would no longer come on.
Summary: I have the older slower FVS318Gv1 (works well on firmware 3.1.1-18), an FVS318N and this FVS318Gv2; the later 2 (on firmware 4.3.2-7) work for about 5 mins after a reboot, then lock up, so are presently useless to me.
