Pros: I have been impressed with the web-managed prosafe verskions of netgear's switches, and this one is no exception. It handles multiple POW access points with no problems. I installed 4 of these running a total of 28 access points, andd they all run flawlessly.
Summary: Ordered & installed our first FS726T in March 2010 to replace a legacy switch and it is still working perfectly. No resets, slowdowns or downtime. Installed a second one in August 2010 to replace our overpriced Nortel BES50 fail.
Pros: Setup is fast, easy and straightforward. Does the advanced stuff if you need it. Silent, stable and works perfectly for our small office needs. Will work in a dynamic or static IP environment; we use static and it was dead simple to set up. Great product, great price and always awesome service fr...
Cons: I used the included brackets to mount these on a wall. When installing brackets to the switch I found the soft machine screw heads stripped very easily, typical china hardware.
Summary: Delivered next day as promised, a solid switch that exceeds the needs for a small business. The managed aspect of the switch is a plus for our off site IT vendor to remote in and manage our network. We are very pleased with all of the NetGear propducts in our office.
Summary: I was looking for a replacement for my 24 port gigabit switch that took a lightning strike. Found this one but after receiving it only has 2 gigabit ports the rest are 10/100, I guess I can live with it but I wouldn't have purchased if the description was more clear. really like the manageability.
