Summary: When i got this modem i thought wow this looks cool for a cheap modem. Then after a few weeks of using this modem it was so slow and was very poor connection. it was one bar of connection from 500M away i would not buy this modem i would save for a better modem.
Summary: Easy to setup and flawless performance. Only needs a restart every fortnight, when setup correctly (in bridge mode, with a compatible router). My router handles all the nitty-gritty, my modem simply bridges the connection, which makes the whole process easier on the modem.
Summary: No UK plug supplied, and no warning it isn't. My unit also had a faulty PSU connection which meant it kept loosing power and rebooting. For this price it is poor, get a TP-Link device at less than half the cost!
Summary: I echo Mr N J Gilbert's observations [complaints] that the item is not supplied with a UK connection and neither this nor the need to purchase an adapter is mentioned in the item's description. Caveat emptor!
Summary: I Found It Rather Easy To Setup, But It Has One BIG Problem If You Let It Idle (When Your Not Browsing Or Downloading Anything) You'll Get Disconected, And I Would Have To Turn It Off And On Again. I've Also Had A Big Problem Using This Modem On Vista. Works Great With OS X Though.
Pros: simple and easy to setup
Cons: if left idle it will disconect, big problems with vista
Excerpt: Unless your computer is not near to your phone socket, then this comes with everything you need, including two extra filters to keep your other phones working properly. It's a neat unit, and has a nice display at the front ofr four little lights that tell you exactly what's going on.
Summary: Difficult to configure as it is a combined modem/ router which i didn't know and didn't need, after contact with support we got it bridged and now it performs very well as a pure modem,it increased my download speed about 3mb compared to the Zyxel i had before
