Summary: I just moved to a new home and got a new ISP. Wth the new ISP you have to have a DSL modem along with router for wireless internet. This NetGear DGND 3700 is just what I needed. Netgear performance with a all in one router/modem.
Summary: Before to buy, I saw a review about this modem router and they said it was a great option. Now that a bought, I can see why they said that. Its one of the best options, it's a great modem router.
Summary: This unit DOES NOT and WILL NOT support IVv6. It will not log and report port scans, denial of service attacks, or attempted visits to blocked sites, even though the interface says it will. Netgear has dropped firmware development for this model, saying that these issues will be fixed in version 2, but none of those are available. Netgear has known for over a year that the hardware is defective and drops DSL synch, and won't stand behind the unit.
Summary: Have DSL service at home with a wireless network. Having just bought 2 new Dell laptops over the past several months I was looking to upgrade from wireless g to n. Because we are using DSL I could buy just a router - it had to be a DSL Modem/Router. Dell had the Netgear product line and I came across this one. With the help of the chat line I was able to determine which one would best suit my needs. This product was very easy to set up out of the box.
Summary: This router has several great features, was very easy to setup, and is reliable. However the range is a lot less than expected for the price paid and doesn't go much further than the room it's located in.
