Summary: Bought this product because I am changing service providers, and do not want to pay rentals every month. Easy set-up and connection. Works great with network printer I have and also external storage disk that I have purchased.
Cons: Too many drop-outs and issues. Now it won't connect to my ISP, using my correct login details (of course). Now I cant set a password following the factory reset - it wont budge from factory-assigned SSID etc. NETGEAR Support is a misnomer in my view.
Summary: I just moved to a new home and got a new ISP. Wth the new ISP you have to have a DSL modem along with router for wireless internet. This NetGear DGND 3700 is just what I needed. Netgear performance with a all in one router/modem.
Summary: Before to buy, I saw a review about this modem router and they said it was a great option. Now that a bought, I can see why they said that. Its one of the best options, it's a great modem router.
Summary: This unit DOES NOT and WILL NOT support IVv6. It will not log and report port scans, denial of service attacks, or attempted visits to blocked sites, even though the interface says it will. Netgear has dropped firmware development for this model, saying that these issues will be fixed in version 2, but none of those are available. Netgear has known for over a year that the hardware is defective and drops DSL synch, and won't stand behind the unit.
Summary: It was a little tricky two set up but it went ok downloaded new firmwire. after setup works great we stream movies from from two tv now and still use computers. I do not have the fastest DSL connection. It is doing great on what I have.
Summary: This router has several great features, was very easy to setup, and is reliable. However the range is a lot less than expected for the price paid and doesn't go much further than the room it's located in.
Summary: I am extremely pleased with this product. My ISP is ATT. I have the highest DSL service. My previous router dropped every so often while on the internet or watching Netflix. My daughter is going to be doing virtual school online. She needs fast and constant internet connection. Sooo....I decided to give this a try. I am not disappointed!!! It was difficult to set up but so worth it. Like another reviewer said the routerlogin.net site doesn't work.
