Summary: I have never had a good Netgear router, now I will never have another Netgear.
Pros: Dual channel, about it
Cons: Worst router I have ever had. This thing has been a constant struggle. It frequently and randomly limits my speed from 75mbps to 10, I have had to forward an encyclopedia of ports to game (still doesn't work), and it has the worst UI I can imagine.
Summary: I wanted to purchase my own router so that I didn't have to rent one from the cable company. The ISP I have uses fiber-optic cables to provide internet access to its members, therefore, I don't require a modem; just a router and an ethernet cable that directly plugs the router to the CAT-5 outlet in...
Excerpt: I purchased this product for my AT&T DSL service because I didn want to pay to purchase their gateway and pay a rental fee on top of it. Easy installation. Just took minutes. Very easy to understand the directions. Service works great. Great buy!

Summary: After 4 weeks, a solid, reliable, fast DSL router Wi-Fi combination; dual-band is nice, less clutter as WiFi and DSL are combined. Easy configuration, almost plug-n-play. Router interface appears not to be able to change the broadcast SSID name or change the factory set password.
Excerpt: I thought that the installation of this device would help me with speed issues. What I got was two gateways that are still slow and the old gateway being broadcasted by the Mac somehow. I believe the speed got worse, even though I distributed the work load between all the gateways.

Summary: My ISP techs tell me they won't "support" it, but they sure look longingly at it. They don't provide equipment as nice. My IPad Air took off from the double channel feature and the range covers my house strong and clear. We've noticed the net doesn't "jam" anymore like the two wire did.
Great product, it's the people not the Netgear that mess it up

Summary: After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to order, but our techy nephew blamed the problems on the people not the netgear. Its been a few months and it is working with excellence. Had our nephew over once to help and he found out we had turned off the box somehow.
