Summary: This is a backup Modem/Router for me and I find this Netgear DGND3300 works very good. I have put it in line for over two weeks and it worked very well. I use a ZyXEL PK5000Z and from what I see they are very close in all functions. Great for Wireless operations.
Summary: I initially bought this product because I was planning on switching to DSL. However, after I purchased this Gateway I realized DSL was not offered in my area so I was not able to see it function in it's entirety. I was able to test the wi-fi which functioned quite well and I was able to enable security features so as to create a personal network. Because DSL was not offered in my area I gave it to my father whom has DSL in his.
Summary: replaced original dsl/router at home with this equipment. very easy install except Epson printer was painfull but the solution was easily found. very happy with the equipment and its added functionality.
Summary: I bought this modem/router to replace my crappy 2Wire AT&T 2701HG-B modem. I'm so happy I did! The 2wire that I owned dropped my internet connection about 20 to 30 times a day. I could log into the modem, but it would take about 30 seconds to a minute for the dsl to reconnect again (after I restarted my browser). Even our pc connected via ethernet cable would lose the connection.
Summary: I started out with the N150 Router/Modem and noted that I needed more speed and distance(large home). I purchased this unit and was immediately impressed with the distance, strength of signal and speed. It has definately made a difference for our home network. Thanks.
Summary: I brought this dsl and router combo after reading many reviews. I had and AT&T 2 wire router which was ok but it would drop the connection about 20 times a day. After reading the reviews decided to buy this router and I was able to get it in used for like new condition for about half the price. It was in excellent condition when it arrived. It took some time to set up, had to call tech support which took about an hour.
Summary: great, dependable router for DSL users. Has many features built into the web-based firmware interface which makes it very easy to manipulate and modify settings. From the outside it looks very nice with the dancing blue lights at the top. I've connected just about every device to it, iPods, laptops, macs, etc. and they all connect flawlessly. faster than a separate modem router combo as well. recommend to any and all DSL users.
Summary: Had a Linksys 610N v1 that dropped constantly. This has much better range. I have a laptop that was getting only 2 bars from 40+ feet away and through 3 walls to an outside office. Now am getting 4-5 on a consistent basis even with phones and other electronics in path of reception. Very easy to set up.
Summary: We had a modem from the phone company and it was barely faster than dial up. We are a multiple computer home and this one has worked great. It was easy to install and get up and running, the support staff were very helpful with any questions. Our speed has more than doubled and the same speed is on all computers. The large blue light is distracting but we just cover it up with paper. The unit itself is very attractive and we would and have recommended it to others.
